Genre Blog- Horror

The top 4 angles in a horror film are one, high angle shots. Two, low angle shots. Three, the dutch angle.

Four, close ups. The mise-en-scene in horror tends to be dark, rural deserted locations, places that are abandoned and isolated. The most common editing techniques on horror films is one, transitions. Two, special effects. Three, shot placement. Four, pacing from the title animation to the final scene. Common sounds in horror movies are one, breathing, Two, stabbing. Three, footsteps. Four, flesh noises. Examples of horror films are The Cabinet Of Dr. Caligari (1919), Nosferatu (1922), Frankenstein (1931), Psycho

(1960), and Night Of The Living Dead (1968). Elements I enjoy in horror is the suspense, the graphics, and the lead up of the climax of the movie. Elements I don't like is how movies like horror can be a hit or miss
