The genre of the song was R&B and we wanted it like that because the idea of our music video was a heartbreak and breakup theme. The music video did not involve social groups, It was a fun video to produce. BeyoncĂ©'s vocal performance in the song is emotionally charged. Her expressive delivery effectively conveys the pain, strength, and assertiveness associated with a breakup, making it resonate with listeners who may have experienced similar emotions.
